I am wondering if anyone can recommend a wifi sniffer, I am familiar with wireshark on the wired side but AirPCAP is not free. What do you guys use recommend as a free alternative, there is one bundled in Backktrack that I have to get sorted out. I will use it mainly for study as I wil eventually get around to my CWNA etc after I have taken my vendor exams. Also are there any free spectrum analysers for the same purpose, ie lab and training.
