Hi.....

Sorry for not providing complete details: I am trying to answer all questions:

One of our friends did a comparison on slowness/responsive between 3-4 type of AP's by pinging 64k(Yes, 64000) packets.

When i did a similar test at my place which involved same AP's, i was not able to ping linksys AP and kept on getting RTO and did not recover unless i decreased the packet size. Linksys was on latest firmware and i tried using doifferent machines, wireless cards & adapter.

When i tried thing with different AP's..it worked but not with linksys.

Reason for using 64k was just that my friends used it and to see wat results i get.

No i am trying to see don't fragment bit.

I want to knw under wat cirucumstances we could see 64k pings failing from start.
