Hi there!!
TKIP MPDU has 4 octets of IV and 4 octets of extended IV. After TKIP computation for WEP seed, what we get is a 128-bit WEP seed, which is used for encryption of data + MIC + ICV. (Correct me if i have got it wrong here)
Now the 4 octets of IV has 1 octet for WEP Seed and 2 octets for TSC and 1 octet for key id / extended IV. What information is carried in 1 octet value of WEP seed?
Thanks.
