    This is hideous.

    Think of the kind of havoc this could wreak with WIPS and WLAN controllers if both virtual cards were using the same source MAC. ;-D yuck.

    What about if all WLAN profiles were not distributed across all APs in a WLAN infrastructure, then you'd have a scenario of one virtual card trying to roam, while the other is trying to stick to an AP that's far away (because none of the close physical APs support the profile it's using on the WLAN infrastructure).

    I could go on and on - this is hideous. It should die.
