    Just checked the study guide at hand. I doubt this might be a typo.

    The example intends to show how to calculate the power difference (dB) between the AP and laptop2, so the following formula should be used:

    y (dB) = 10 x log(Power of AP / Power of L2) = 10 x log(100mW / 1mW) = 10 x 2 = 20dB

    However, the Power of [b]L2[/b] was mistakenly written as Power of [b]L1[/b], which makes you confused.
