I don't have an unlimited budget. But as with any profession, having the right tools makes all the difference. I spent way less than a nephew on his tools to get involved in auto repair - and make just a bit more income.

The entire set, all but the AirMagnet, was included in our WLSAT course taught by Kimberly Graves and myself on Wireless PEN testing.

Of course I'm most comfortable finding answers to WLAN questions with AirMagnet.

Just pick a tool and get very good at it - you'll get comfortable too.
