So an ESS is a BSS ( or more than one )connected to a DSM. The coverage of each AP doesn't matter in so far as overlapping or not. I can get my head around that.

The Cisco term 'ESA' of the overlapping BSA that are part of an ESS is purely a Cisco term?

Success Stories

I literally just came out of the testing centre having taken the CWDP exam. The certification process opened my mind to different techniques and solutions. This knowledge can only broaden your perspective. Great job, CWNP, you have a great thing going on here.
