Hi Pratik,

Fragmentation helps reduce collision when collision level is found to be high. This purely depends on the amount of collision and the fragmentation value that is set.

The use of fragementation should be restricted only in environments with high collision levels. If very few collisions are occuring fragmentation will increase the overhead of the network and reduce throughput.
