I am looking to get one and so far the best one I can find to do b/a/g is the YellowJacket. http://www.bvsystems.com/Products/WLAN/YJ-BAG/YJ-BAG.htm. Does anyone own this model? If so how do you like it?
Thanks. -
I have one, and like it very well. It depends on what you are wanting to do. Today, I would prefer the Bumblebee for RF Spectrum analysis, and a dedicated protocol analyzer such as OmniPeek or AirMagnet for the rest.
I would like to see what the Bumblebee tablet can do. I'll let you know if I get one or eval one. -
Don't mean to hijack the thread but has anyone heard of this:
www.winradio.com
Not exactly portable but the price is decent. Will support up to 3.5Ghz with a downconverter of some sort. -
WinRadio has been around for a long time. Just make sure you read the fine print. If you are in the US and not working for the government, you are restricted to a damaged version that complies with the Electronic Communications Privay Act. In plain english, the cell phone frequencies are blocked in hardware and cannot be unblocked.
