can anyone clear my doubts??

1)ofdm is a spread spectrum technique or not?
coz in 3rd edition CWNA book it is said as one ,but on next page it is stated
that it is not an spread spectrum technique but is functionally equivalent to
spread spectrum

2) in TKIP how long is the IV 6 byte of 8 byte??
