If you are new to communications technology, networking and computers in general, I would probably argue that having read the v2 study guide that it has started to build a strong foundation necessary to work in this field. Then with the purchase of the v3 study guide and its reading and study you will become more prepared and ready for the exam.

I would also echo what Joshua said "Make sure that you go over the objectives listed on the website for the CWNA exam and are able to explain each and every one of them.

I also understand that if you purchase the new study guide that you also receive a practice set of exam questions. I would strongly recommned that you avail yourself to that study tool.

Success Stories

I literally just came out of the testing centre having taken the CWDP exam. The certification process opened my mind to different techniques and solutions. This knowledge can only broaden your perspective. Great job, CWNP, you have a great thing going on here.
