    Greetings,

    Here is the calculations:

    Freq: 2400 MHZ
    Tx Antenna: 9 dB
    Tx Cable Loss: 0
    Tx Power: 27 dB (amp output)
    Distance 6 miles
    Rx Antenna: 24dB
    Rx Cable Loss: 3
    Rx Sensitivity: -83 dB

    Free Space Loss: 119.8 dB Signal at Distant End - -62.8
    SOM 20.2 dB

    Hope this helps shed some light on the scenerio I am working on.
