  • Position Summary
    The Territory Sales Manager (TSM) is a senior member of the ?¡é?€??our client?¡é?€?? sales organization that reports to the SVP of Sales and Business Development. This is a remote position that is based in Chicago or Minneapolis. The TSM is responsible for driving significant revenue growth within the mid-west region from both existing ?¡é?€??our client?¡é?€?? customers and prospects selling both directly and with channel partners. The TSM must have a demonstrated ability to proactively manage and develop a large, diverse sales territory and effectively lead a territory team consisting of an inside sales representative and sales engineer.

    Responsibilities
    ?¡é?€?¡é Responsible for revenue generation and market share growth of ?¡é?€??our client?¡é?€???¡é?€??s products in the mid-west territory.
    ?¡é?€?¡é Effectively identify and drive a large number of sales opportunities through the qualification process and to closure.
    ?¡é?€?¡é Manage what is typically a long, complex sales cycles with large organizations.
    ?¡é?€?¡é Communicate with and sell to networking, security and business line managers within large organizations.
    ?¡é?€?¡é Manage ?¡é?€??our client?¡é?€???¡é?€??s existing local distribution relationships in order to maximize revenue generation, including building awareness of ?¡é?€??our client?¡é?€???¡é?€??s value proposition within partner organizations and assisting those partners on customer sales calls and in closing business.
    ?¡é?€?¡é Responsible for customer satisfaction within ?¡é?€??our client?¡é?€???¡é?€??s existing base in the mid-west territory.
    ?¡é?€?¡é Actively participate as a member of the ?¡é?€??our client?¡é?€?? team by sharing knowledge and committing to the achievement of common business objectives.

    Qualifications
    ?¡é?€?¡é 5+ years of enterprise sales experience.
    ?¡é?€?¡é Proven track record of sales success within the enterprise software industry ?¡é?€?¡° including quota performance and revenue growth.
    ?¡é?€?¡é Experience selling enterprise security software products and/or services, particularly selling VPN products and/or services, is highly desirable.
    ?¡é?€?¡é Proven track record of success of working within a fast-paced, rapidly evolving start-up environment.
    ?¡é?€?¡é Experience selling to verticals such as insurance, utilities, healthcare, public safety, telecommunications or other vertical with a large number of mobile field workers is desirable.


    Position Summary
    The Sales Engineer (SE) is a senior member of the ?¡é?€??our client?¡é?€?? sales organization. This is a remote position that is based in Chicago or Minneapolis. The SE is a highly technical professional who is responsible for working with their territory sales manager and inside sales representative to drive significant revenue growth within the mid-west region by providing technical sales support during the customer qualification process, pre-sales technical support to prospects during the evaluation process, and ongoing technical training to ?¡é?€??our client?¡é?€?? resellers and partners within the mid-west region.

    Responsibilities
    ?¡é?€?¡é Partner with the territory sales manager and inside sales representative to establish strategy for sales and lead generation for the territory.
    ?¡é?€?¡é Deliver technical sales presentations to prospective customers and drive technical qualification to ensure appropriate fit with ?¡é?€??our client?¡é?€?? products.
    ?¡é?€?¡é Provide training and technical support to ?¡é?€??our client?¡é?€?? channel and marketing partners.
    ?¡é?€?¡é Install ?¡é?€??our client?¡é?€?? product and provide technical support to prospective customers who are evaluating ?¡é?€??our client?¡é?€?? products.
    ?¡é?€?¡é Consult with prospective and existing customers regarding appropriate third-party products that are complimentary to ?¡é?€??our client?¡é?€???¡é?€??s.
    ?¡é?€?¡é Funnel feature requests and product ideas into product management. Assist product management in the developing priorities for the company?¡é?€??s product roadmap.
    ?¡é?€?¡é When necessary, assist ?¡é?€??our client?¡é?€???¡é?€??s technical support team resolve post-sale customer issues.

    Qualifications
    ?¡é?€?¡é 5+ years of software sales engineering experience working with large enterprise accounts.
    ?¡é?€?¡é Strong foundation in network design, configuration and troubleshooting ?¡é?€?¡° current MCSE, Cisco or other relevant vendor certification is desirable.
    ?¡é?€?¡é Hands-on experience installing, configuring and trouble-shooting complex networks, resulting in a strong understanding of TCP/IP, routers and firewalls.
    ?¡é?€?¡é Strong security background, particularly with VPN/firewall products and/or services, is highly desirable.
    ?¡é?€?¡é Current CISSP or other security certification is desirable.
    ?¡é?€?¡é Experience working with wireless networking, wireless security and/or wireless management products is desirable.
    ?¡é?€?¡é Ability to effectively communicate with and present technical topics with networking and security groups within large IT organizations.
    ?¡é?€?¡é Experience working in verticals such as insurance, utilities, healthcare, public safety, telecommunications or other vertical with a large number of mobile field workers is desirable.
    ?¡é?€?¡é Experience working out of a home office as a remote employee is required.
    ?¡é?€?¡é Outstanding communication, planning and organizational skills.
    ?¡é?€?¡é Willingness to travel +60%.


    Compensation: 80-100K plus bonus/incentives
