Would you mind providing more details? For example, is the Wi-Fi just required around the ski lodge, and if so, how far? I have experience with outdoor installations, but no particular notes about what happens when it snows. I'll contact a friend and see if he has any notes on the network when it snowed.

Again, it would be nice to know what kind of distance you will need, type of connection (laptop, point to point shot, roaming required etc.)
