Hello,
Maybe I'm missing the boat but I been dealing with deploying .11b and understand the need for channel seperation but, what about .11a deployments? Is there anything on whats the best channels to be on?
Thanks! -
Hi Spartan: Long time since your post. Have you working with OFDM since then?
The 12 channels in the 5 GHz band used by OFDM (802.11a) do not overlap like the 11 (USA) channels in the 2.4 GHz band used by DSSS/HRDSSS/ERP (802.11, 802.11b, 802.11g). Consequently there is none that is normally avoided.
I hope this helps. Thanks. /criss
