A quick update and overview of the CWNP program written by the president, Brad Crump.
By: Brad Crump, President & CEO, CWNP
CWNP is like a ship at sea as we encounter new opportunities and challenges. This month we take time out for a Hail and Farewell for our CWNE Board of Advisors (BoA). The BoA was formed one year ago and consists of six members serving three-year terms. Terms are staggered such that two new members join each year. Vinay Saini and Jimmy Donohue were selected to fill the 3rd year slots. We thank them very much for their service. As inaugural BoA members they helped set the direction for the CWNE program, and their efforts will have a lasting impact. They can feel proud about the increased growth we have seen in the CWNE program over the last 12 months. This is especially noteworthy when considering that their efforts have led to a more stringent CWNE program. It is now more difficult to become and remain a CWNE professional than it was just one year ago.
The good news is that we get to hail two new members to the BoA. For the next three years we have the honor and privilege of working with Ronald van Kleunen and Bryan Harkins. They have both been very much involved with CWNP for years. In addition to both holding the CWNE certification, Ronald's company, Globeron is an Authorized Learning Center (ALC) and Bryan is co-author of the CWSP study guide. Welcome aboard!
As you can see there are many things happening at CWNP and we welcome all new ideas. Thank you very much for your continued support and please stay in touch!
