Good point, and to further clarify, you'd have to say, "At any given time only one 802.11 STA can transmit on the half-duplex medium in a given collision domain."
This applies both to MCA and SCA systems.
This is of course true, but then (or previously) we would have to redefine collision domain. Wired networking techs understand how that applies on the wire, but to take that to the air requires further understanding.
I have to further amend the statement as I have had students correct me.
