I have a doubt regarding setting of power management bit by the staion.

Standard says , it can set the bit in all the frames.But according to my opinion... (when do AP need to change the state for the station?)

What happens if we set the power management bit in following frames....

Probe request - (Initailly) - not possible or AP can ignore it.

(After association for probe request)....???????Shall AP store the response..

Authentication - not possible or AP can ignore it
(AID not allocated)

Association request - not possible or Ap can ignore
(AID not allocated)

Re-association request - not possible or Ap can ignore it
(AID not allocated - or may change)

Data frame (Unicast) - possible

Broadcast frame (Broadcast) - ????????????????

Null frame - possible

Ps-Poll frame - possible ??????????????
(Should AP consider this)

[If we send PS-Poll with power management active, should we send all the frames or one frame]

RTS/CTS - ??????????????/

ACK - ???
(Not possible, since no frame exchange sequence)

Can you please review my comments and answer the question marks....
