Wall construction absorption data

Does anyone know whether there is data compiled as to the 2.4Ghz RF absorption characteristics for typical wall construction methods and materials such as
1.) 4" wall with 1/2" drywall both sides and steel studs at 16" centers
2.) same but with wood studs, fibergalss insulation
3.) 6" wall etc...
Or is it just easier to perform an empirical site survey? -
It's out there, just need to do some digging. In all reality, a site survey should be performed regardless of what numbers you do use. I've found each maufacturer of site survey equipment can sometimes have a slightly different value assigned to each material.
Some basic ones I have from the old days (2002):
Plasterboard wall
3dB
Office window
3dB
Cinder block wall
4dB
Glass wall with metal frame
6dB
Of course this means you need to do the math. If the power level was 200mw on one side of the wall, and the wall has a 3dB loss, then you're looking at 100mw on the other side of the wall.
