Cannot connect to an Access Point (Help)

I have a Acer 5520 laptop and a Leviton AP200 wireless AP. I've configured the security setting using WPA-PSk. However I cannot connect to the AP with the Acer 5520, but I can connect to the AP with other brands, such as Dell and Gateway notebooks.I don't really understand why the Acer can connect to the 3Com and Dell APs. Am I overlooking something? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
Thank You,

Sounds like a config error, Have you ever associated to another AP with that laptop?

Yes the 3Com....still drunk!! lol

Just curious, are you running in .11a or .11g?

Yes I can access other AP brands like 3Com and Linksys, but the Leviton Aps are giving me a headache. I tried using g and a and still have the same issue. If i disconnect the security I can access with no issue the wireless cards are Broadcoms.
Thanks
