I've been studying the CWSP 2nd addition study guide and came along a question that I would like to discuss. I've always have had issues with the type of questions posed on Cert. tests and I came along one in particular in this book. The first question in Chapter 17 "Which of the following RF monitoring functions is optimized to identify RF energy?" The book indicates (and rightfully so) Spectrum Analysis, but one of the choices is "site survey activities". The book only selected the Spec Ann, I can argue that a site survey is optimized for this as well, namely because a passive survey is one of the first and most important aspect of any wireless survey and certainly falls into the category of RF identification. Is this the type of questioning I can expect on the test?
