Differences:

PPTP w/MSCHAP V2 doesn't use any certificates to authenticate clients.

PEAP w/MSCHAP V2 which uses only server-side public key certificates to authenticate clients by creating an encrypted SSL/TLS tunnel between the client and the authentication server.
