How do you determine if you want to implement both IDS and wireless? Most companies only implement wireless. Thanks.

If you have a security policy or mandate at your location that requires wireless intrusion detection and/or prevention, then either an integrated system (like Airespace or Aruba) or a 3rd party overlay system (like Network Chemistry or AirMagnet) will work great. There are advantages and disadvantages to either type solution. Even if you have no wireless LAN, it's STILL a great idea to have a WIPS. In a case like this, the overlay system is most appropriate.
