The CCNA wirless focuses on the Cisco kit, I am impressed that Kevin recommended the CCNA Wireless and thats really honest of him. I have a CCNA Wireless and I am studying The CWNA, its filling alot of knowledge gaps for me personally as it goes into greater depth than the CCNA Wireless on RF principles. Alot is stuff I knew about but not te details.
To expand on what Kevin said you may actually major in another vendors wireless product such as Aruba who have a certification program. OK Cisco will open more doors I guess. Personally yes the CWSP will be a challenge, but its well worth it.
If you want a career in wireless then welcome to a very small community of talented individuals. I don't include myself in that "talented" part just yet however I am working towards it. If you are a network engineer it may be beneficial to develope your networking skills aswell as your wireless skills, in fact it will be beneficial anyway.
Good luck in whatever you choose
