  • Hi Guys

Just wondering how people are pushing out the AES security setting as part of WPA2-Enterprise to hundreds of laptops after a rollout of 802.11n equipment?

Situation is that I might need to do the above however the school in question is running on a 2003 domain and as such can't push it out via GP (to my knowledge at least). The only way I have found of doing is is by implementing dodgy Vista hacks as can be found on the Net (which I am not too keen on doing).

    Any suggestions are welcome :)

PS any other tips on the Windows front pls shout out - i.e. such things as enabling machine/user authentication so the kids gets access to their shared drives etc...

    Thanks

  • I've been working with a company who used certificates which where pushed to client laptop though policies.

Not sure how it was implemented in detail.

There are several Universities that use Cloudpath.

Are you using the Windows supplicant? If so, google zwlancfg. The new version is licensed but I think the older version (2.1) is freeware. You can push it out by running a bat file.
