Wavelength and antenna size

    GTHill asked about what are the hardest concepts to understand the other day. I have come across one in my reading of the new CWNA book. It may not be important to the exam but gets me every time.

    Why does wavelength decide antenna length (1/2 wave 1/4 wave), wouldn't that have more todo with the power and alternating current cycles coming from transmitter?
