Do you prefer "thin" or "fat" APs?
("Thin" being cheap and/or ones that require a controller; "fat" being ones more expensive ones that are entities in and of themselves).
(I'm curious as to what business factors drove the thin/fat purchasing decision that you made.) -
Our company started with Cisco autonomous units but management of the devices has become difficult. We are moving to Cisco 4402 controllers at our sites so that we can a more controlled installation. With the controllers we can also employ their location services and find the devices when they go 'missing'.
