How MIMO and SISO Releated to AP input Power on AP1250-11n

Hi All,
I'm very new to this forum. Because of your valuable posts I'm really getting good knowledge about latest things, so thanks a lot for that.
My Question:
I'm Using Cisco AP1250 11n AP. As it supports Both MIMO & SISO I want to know on which its working currently.
1) Is it possible If I sniff the Air packets from the AP to know about its Mode of Operation or what should I do to ?
2) I'm booting this AP1250 by using Cisco E series ePOE Switch. This will provide 15.4w by default to this AP.
when the AP is getting 15.4w and If I get into the AP to see the radios status I will get the following message "Radio is running in lower power mode due to inline power (15.4w); Maximum transmit power will be affected; Allowed data rates will be affected"
So If the AP works on the above status will it still support MIMO ? or Is there any relation between APs power and MIMO ?
Thanks a lot to all for making me to know more,
G Thiyagu
