Encryption method vs Encryption algorithm

    Hello Criss,

    Thank you for your detailed explanation. It is very useful indeed.
    Concerning the question though, wouldn't you agree that since AES isn't part of the WPA certification, that the answer to the question shouldn't include it ?

    In fact since the question talks about "encryption", the only valid answer would be RC4, since TKIP and WEP are cipher suite (methods, protocol) which use RC4 encryption...

    At the very least, if we assume the question want all of them (algorithms, and cipher suites) then the answer should be WEP, TKIP and RC4.

    I may be playing with words here, but I like things to be clear, and I fear that it is questions like that, that will make me fail the exam... (lack of context).

    Any thoughts ?
