You have quite a few options here. Antenna gain and line of sight is your biggest friend. At the most basic level, you're probably looking for yagi antennas and vendor hardware that can bridge. Look for WDS or meshing as features. (btw, Cisco has a 'WDS' feature, but that's a different feature for them. Of course they do bridging, too.) I'd also recommend setting these up so that clients cannot associate to the bridge link as it will deteriorate the overall link throughput.
Keep with the same manufacturer for both sides of the link. Bridging is not part of the interoperability spec tested by WiFi Alliance as I understand it.
Also, 2.4GHz is typically more crowded/noisier. If you indeed have true RF line of sight (Fresnel zone included) 5GHz is preferred.
