There's another question in pool D that asks what things one should consider for a link budget. One of the items that is not included is VSWR return loss. Yet there is no explanation as to why this is not included.

I would really like to see that each possible choice on a question is covered in the explanation. This could greatly fill in gaps in the text.

VSWR is not something that you include when you do the link budget calculation. You need to take into the account the Cable loss, antenna gain, trasmit power of the AP etc.

When calculating link budget, it is assumed you are going to use cables and connectors with the same impedence, so VSWR should not come into play.
