Chris - Thank you for your post, as it does explain some of the posts that I have seen. I do understand your point of view and it does make some cents. As for my setup and any networks that I am responsible for - I will be disabling broadcasts on my networks, just to make it that much more obscure for the average hacker. I do understand that it is not a true security measure, but if I have to stand behind multiple networks and the security for them, then I am going to do what I can to keep the novice wardrivers from even picking up the network at all.
